It’s like March Madness, except it’s one night only – and all about comedy. Twelve comedians will enter the room and and only one will leave victorious after the audience has voted round to round in this ballistic bracket of rob ticklers. Have a laugh, a glass and help crown a winner.
A Reading by Amina Gautier at Claver Hall (7 p.m. Thursday, free)
Dr. Amina Gautier won the Flannery O’Connor Award for Short Fiction, one of only two women of color to do so. She’ll read from her latest fiction offering, The Loss of All Lost Things, and talk about her work tonight. Register for the event on the Regis University campus here.

Ah, those simple days of slurping cereal and giggling at cartoons. This grownup version adds local comedians who rip and riff on the cartoons of the 1980s and ’90s, and the commercials that accompanied them. Sweet!
