First, imagine 300,000 lbs. of tomatoes. Now, imagine those tomatoes are overripe and mildly rotten. Now, imagine all of those tomatoes in a humongous pile at Copper Mountain and a crowd of people gathered for no other reason than to throw that third-of-a-million-pound heap of tomatoes at each other.
Can you even imagine it? No, you probably can’t, which is why it’s a good thing we sent photographer Brandon Marshall to bring back this slide-show. And if that’s not enough, we brought back video of it, too. Page down to see the mayhem.
