Gentlemen, polish your best British accent, practice your witty one-liners and prepare to step into the shoes of suave secret agent James Bond. Ladies, slip on a cocktail dress and adopt a suggestive double entendre as a pseudonym, and who knows? Maybe you’ll meet the Bond of your dreams. Tonight’s your chance to live out all your fantasies of the world’s most famous secret agent at the 007 in 2007 fundraiser at the Dairy Center for the Arts, 2590 Walnut Street in Boulder. From 6 p.m. until midnight, you can sip martinis — shaken, not stirred — from the martini bar, win big in the casino and pose with an authentic Aston Martin, the sleek, über-stylish car of choice for Britain’s top agent. A series of Bond-related performances and a host of beloved Bond characters will help immerse you in the 007 universe, while a cool jazz soundtrack will keep you dancing till midnight. There are also live and silent auctions, including such Bond-like offerings as an Aston Martin cruise and diamonds. All proceeds go toward supporting the Dairy Center, a vibrant community arts center that is home to fourteen different organizations. Tickets are $100 and can be purchased online at www.thedairy.org or by calling 303-444-7328.
