Aurora is already home to some of the best Asian shopping options like H Mart and Ebisu Japanese Lifestyle Store, but the options for Asian goods have expanded with the addition of Daiso, a bargain Japanese brand that opened its first location in Aurora on March 22.

Daiso is known for selling a wide variety of products at affordable prices, with some considering Daiso the Japanese dollar store. In Japan, Daiso's base price for most products is 100 yen. Everything from tasty snacks to dishware to surprisingly great makeup can be purchased at Daiso and nothing will break the bank.

Aurora's new Daiso location is in the Village on the Park strip mall at 2353 South Havana Street in Aurora. Diaso is right next to a Dollar Tree and the mall also includes a location of Five Below, making the area an absolute haven for bargain shoppers.

Daiso has over 6,000 stores globally and 150 in the United States, according to the company's website. The Village on the Park location is Colorado's first Daiso outpost but the company is undergoing a rapid expansion at the moment. According to the Daiso website, three more locations are set to open in Colorado soon, including two more in metro Denver.

One store is coming to Aurora in the Southlands Shopping Center at 6155 South Main Street while the other will be coming to the Cherry Knolls neighborhood in Centennial. Lastly, Fort Collins will receive a Daiso outpost. All are projected to open this spring.
