Five years ago, Los Comicos Super Hilariosos strode onto Denver's stand-up wasteland like the Avengers of ass humor, the Super Friends of shit talking, the Justice League of dick jokes. The collective's monthly shows have featured Adam Cayton-Holland, Andrew Orvedahl, Greg Baumhauer, Ben Roy and their colleagues giving Denverites a direct shot of no-holds-barred comedy like an optic blast from their mutant eyeballs. But now this mythical band of renegades is calling it quits.

Well, sort of. The crew behind Los Comicos Super Hilariosos is taking its skills to a new location and changing its name -- more on that to come. But in the meantime, Los Comicos are throwing one last, balls-to-the-wall Super Hilariosos event tonight at 9 p.m. at Orange Cat Studios, 2625 Larimer Street,

Cayton-Holland, Orvedahl, Baumhauer and Roy will be there, as will special guests and LA comedy superstars Ron Babcock and Kyle Kinane. The beer will be cold, the humor offensive and the place might or might not burn down (the latter has been known to happen).

So what are you waiting for? Get your tickets online and get there early to grab a seat. This is one final showdown of superhero proportions you will not want to miss.
