If there’s one thing the Internet loves (besides porn), it’s cat videos — whether those cats are playing keyboards, chasing lasers or contorting themselves into absurd shapes to fit into tiny boxes. Now you can get a concentrated dose of cat madness with the Internet Cat Video Festival, a selection of the web’s best kitty porn, curated by the Walker Art Center in Minneapolis. “Someone got the crazy idea to show Internet videos of cats on the big screen and kind of threw it out there, and thousands of people ended up showing up,” explains Ernie Quiroz, programming manager for the Denver Film Society. “We thought it was a good idea to jump on that bandwagon.”

More than seventy glorious minutes of the weirdest, funniest and cutest kitten antics ever uploaded will fill the screen, including a short program of local cat videos. You’ll laugh. You’ll cry. You’ll probably want to adopt a kitten. You can even wear your feline finest. “People can come dressed as cats if they want — that’s totally up to them,” Quiroz says. “We won’t discourage them.”

The program screens tonight at 7:30 p.m. and at 2 and 9:30 p.m. tomorrow at the Sie FilmCenter, 2510 East Colfax Avenue. Tickets are $10, or $7 for DFS members. For more info, visit denverfilm.org.
