Part of that campaign has been the Summer of Modernism series, and its latest event is tonights Mistology, which, according to Quiroga, promises to be a fabulous vintage cocktail lecture and tasting a great party in a great place, the SugarCube. It will be held in one of the big, raw lofts there, a terrific space with killer views of the mall and downtown. The evening is being underwritten by Canadian Mist, a whiskey maker that puts on these kinds of events across the country to benefit a variety of causes.
Doors open at 5:30 p.m., and the program begins at 6, at 1555 Blake Street. Entry is free for Summer of Modernism passport holders and $15 for the 21-and-over general public. For tickets, call 1-800-268-7266.
