And so the Tranny Roadshow began.
"The show has gotten much bigger and much better," Shortandqueer notes. "We were able to find good combinations of performers, and the style of performing has also grown. It's not just spoken-word and music; we have a puppet show, someone doing magic and an aerialist.
"One of the things we pride ourselves on is having an all-transgendered cast," Shortandqueer adds. "There's definitely a lot of variety in that. If someone feels comfortable being on the Tranny Roadshow stage, we have room for them."
The Roadshow touches down tonight at 7 p.m. in the Driscoll Center Ballroom on the University of Denver campus; admission is free.
