Reader: 1940s WWII Era Ball is worth every penny

Juneteenth. PrideFest. Denver Comic Con. The metro area is full of festivities this weekend. Some are looking to the future, some to the past -- like the fourth annual 1940s WWII Era Ball at the Boulder Airport.

Says Dr. Angelface:

I've been to the 1940s ball for the last two years and it consistently amazes me every time. i could try to describe the experience, but i don't want to wax poetic-like, so i'll just say: Worth Every Penny. it's a fantastic event.
