It looks like Vogl will be bringing a little bromance to Romancing the Stone, the 1984 action-comedy that riffs on Raiders of the Lost Ark as DeVito, Turner and Michael Douglas all hunt for ancient treasure while dodging bullets, finding love and effectively deconstructing the absurd implausibility of Indiana Jones's exploits. Indeed, the good, the bad, the ugly and the funny are all on display in Romancing, which makes it perfect fodder for the Mile High Sci-Fi crew. Each time around, Vogl and cohorts Harrison Rains, Chuck Roy and Jim Hickox crack jokes as the celluloid rolls. The result is a hilarious, interactive free-for-all that gets compared favorably to Mystery Science Theater 3000, though it has an appeal all its own. Maybe not as much of an appeal as DeVito's thighs, but still.
