The world premiere of Standard Films' The Storming gets top billing at tonight's Snowboard on the Rocks, and for good reason.

In a film full of big names, big mountain lines and all-around ballsy boarding, featured rider Torstein Horgmo has the biggest trick of the year. Remember all of last year's hype about the new double-cork craze in snowboarding? For The Storming, Horgmo brings the first triple cork ever landed on film. Trailer (and triple-cork teaser) after the jump.

Snowboard on the Rocks is a triple cork of its own, with premieres of The Storming, Think Thank's Right Brain/Left Brain, and Never Summer's Made In America. Doors open at 6pm - More info at www.SnowboardOnTheRocks.com

Keep Westword Free... Since we started Westword, it has been defined as the free, independent voice of Denver, and we would like to keep it that way. Offering our readers free access to incisive coverage of local news, food and culture. Producing stories on everything from political scandals to the hottest new bands, with gutsy reporting, stylish writing, and staffers who've won everything from the Society of Professional Journalists' Sigma Delta Chi feature-writing award to the Casey Medal for Meritorious Journalism. But with local journalism's existence under siege and advertising revenue setbacks having a larger impact, it is important now more than ever for us to rally support behind funding our local journalism.
