Synique Cortez is a second-grade math and science teacher in DPS and also leads an English Language Development course for multilingual learners. She earned her bachelor’s degree from the Center for Urban Education at Lowry, an extension of the University of Northern Colorado, and is currently pursuing her master’s in Curriculum Development at UNC Greeley. She is passionate about creating equitable learning environments where every child feels seen, supported and inspired to grow. She is a proud mom to a three-year-old daughter who inspires her every day.
