Denver Cruisers to Replace Iconic Weekly Rides With Monthly Events

Since its founding in 2005, the Denver Cruiser Ride has sponsored bicycle rides in the Mile High City that doubled as rolling costume parties every Wednesday throughout the summer. But for 2017, DCR founder Brad Evans has announced that the weekly rides will be replaced with five monthly events. In the meantime, he’s launching two new projects: Bike City, a cycling advocacy group, and happy hour meetups called City Spark that he sees as a way to bring together veteran Cruisers, longtime residents and folks who’ve just moved to the area to build a larger and more cohesive community.

Why Colorado Tokers Love Triangle Kush

When I was a kid, thinking about the Bermuda Triangle always freaked me out…and I grew up in Arizona. On the surface, the Bermuda Triangle and Triangle Kush have no real link other than the strain having been bred in Florida, but their mysterious similarities run deep — especially after a joint of the strain gets your conspiracy juices flowing.

Tips for Transplants: Rules for May

May in Denver is nothing but transition. May can be anything. May will be what you want it to be, or at least what it wants to be. May is snow and sun, outdoors and in, the promise of warmth to come and a reminder of the winter (that wasn’t). Colorado Film Incentive Money Slashed: “We Won’t Be Able to Compete”

The $3 million budget for incentive money to lure filmmakers to Colorado, which had been marked for elimination in March, has instead been slashed to $750,000.
