During this week’s meeting of the Voice Film Club, Alan Scherstuhl and Stephanie Zacharek of the Village Voice, along with Amy Nicholson of the LA Weekly, discuss the Marlon Brando documentary Listen to Me Marlon. Our trio of film critics then move to The End of the Tour, the film adaption of an interview with David Foster Wallace by Rolling Stone scribe David Lipsky, which never made it into the magazine, but did become this movie.
Amy also tells a story about sharing a salad with Jason Segel (who plays Wallace) during her interview with him about the film.
As always, you can read all of our movie reviews, interviews, and essays at villagevoice.com/movies.
