No. 100 Chicken-fried steak from Lola

You do not expect to find a great chicken-fried steak at a coastal Mexican restaurant. But from the moment that Lola started offering chicken-fried steak on its weekend brunch board, it’s been a favorite with chicken-fried fans, a constant through a series of menu changes, big and beefy and rib-sticking, whether covered with red chile gravy or green, sided with sweet potato hash or grits cakes.
