Bad Daddy’s just opened on Monday in Cherry Creek, and today 5280 Burger Bar & Creamery will open in Denver Pavilions. It’s the initial Colorado franchise of Restaurant 512 Fresh, a company based in Austin, Texas — and certainly the first with the 5280 name. See also: First Look: First look: Bad Daddy’s Burger Bar turns out mammoth burgers in Cherry Creek 5280 boasts a chef-driven menu featuring “never ever” (which means never touched by antibiotics) Colorado beef, as well as seasonal local ingredients; each burger will have its own homemade sauces and toppings. And in a nod to its mall location, it also has homemade ice cream — sixteen flavors, each of which you can enjoy in an alcohol shake, and all managed by a fulltime ice cream chef.
Says owner Don Redlinger: “We were drawn to a downtown Denver location because we love the traffic that the Pavilions gets. We have an exceptional menu, and we wanted to choose the highest profile location we could find.”
5280 Burger Bar opens at 11 a.m. daily; its regular hours will be from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Find more information here.
