Little Man Ice Cream is on a mission, and needs your help. This weekend the Little Man team will head to Guatemala, to help construct new housing for a family in the rural village of San Lucas Toliman. And they’re not leaving empty-handed: The men and women of Little Man will be delivering rice and beans funded by the Scoop for Scoop program (for every scoop of ice cream, Little Man donates a scoop of food to a good cause), and handing out baseball caps – an important item in Guatemala, since constant exposure to the sun there can lead to major eye complications. That’s where you come in: Use your head, and bring new or gently used hats to Little Man today until 10 p.m.

While you’re there, you can also do yourself some good and buy a scoop or two. For more information, contact Little Man at 303-455-3811 for more information.

And watch for Little Man to expand in the new year: Not only will its ice cream-making facility on West Colfax Avenue get up and running, but it will add an outlet in Capitol Hill.
