Tonight at Cora Faye’s, Slow Food Denver is hosting an evening with sou- food scholar and author Adrian Miller, a finalist for the James Beard Foundation award for his book Soul Food: The Surprising Story of an American Cuisine, One Plate at a Time.

“We’re going to eat, and we’re going to talk about where soul food is going,” Miller promises. The menu for the evening includes fried chicken, catfish, collard greens, black- eyed peas, candied yams, cornbread, hushpuppies, sweet potato pie and peach cobbler.
