Earlier this week, wine was flowing through special dinners around town — but today’s events are all about Colorado craft beer.
UPDATE: THIS EVENT IS CANCELLED At 6:30 p.m. tonight, the Denver Beer Co. will host the Winter Beer Dinner: a three-course meal created by Mikes 2 Kitchen. Dishes included potato and bacon chowder, smoked pork belly, and chocolate espresso torte will be paired with four different beers, ranging from Belgians to Barleywines. TheWarwick Denver Hotel is teaming up with Colorado Springs-based Bristol Brewing Company for a special winter beer tasting, featuring many brews only available in the winter. The selection of beers includes Smokebrush Porter and Winter Warlock Oatmeal Stout; they’ll be paired with hors d’oeuvres. Tickets are $20; call 303-318-7272.
