The second of three new sushi joints just opened in LoDo. After a series of preview parties, Blue Sushi Sake Grill opened yesterday in the former home of Dixons on the 16th Street Mall (or at least some of it; the other portion is now Lucky Pie).

Blue Sushi Sake Grill is a link in a chain out of Omaha. This location will be opening at 4 p.m. through July 13; after that it will open at 11 a.m. Monday through Saturday, noon on Sunday.

Aoba, a sushi bar/Japanese restaurant, opened two months ago in the former home of Organixx, just a block away at 1520 Blake Street. And right next door to Aoba, in the former home of India House, construction is proceeding on LoDo’s Hapa Sushi, a second Denver spot for the Boulder-based outfit.
