The remains of Brandon’s Pub, the oddly named Mexican joint that got its start in the Beauvallon in 2008, just when the building was about to go under wraps for repairs, then reappeared in the former home of Chez Jose in Cherry Creek North in May 2010, will be auctioned off on Thursday, July 26.

After he was bumped from the Beauvallon, owner Clemente Martinez planned to auction off everything in the place and then head to California to pursue his acting career. Instead, he decided to give his restaurant another try in Cherry Creek. He put a full bar in the spot — something Chez Jose had never had — and resurrected the Brandon’s menu. “We’re still a sports pub serving New Mexican food, and the Navajo tacos are really great,” he told Lori Midson, “so we’re going to put them on the menu soon.”

But now everything’s off the menu at Brandon’s — where the fifteen giant Panasonic plasma TVs, as well as a gas fryer where those Navajo tacos were made, will be auctioned off at 2 p.m. July 26.
