The space at 404 Broadway has been in a state of flux for over a year. After a sixty-year run as Jerry Feld’s Club 404, it changed hands in December 2011 and reopened in February as the Denver Wheel Club 404, a bike-themed bar that rolled to a halt in November. In the meantime, though, the drinks kept flowing while new proprietor Kevin Geraghty worked to turn the place into Brendan’s, a reincarnated version of the legendary LoDo blues bar of the same name.

The space is now officially operating as Brendan’s, but Geraghty is still working on a few changes — mainly to the menu, he says. The interior will get a slight makeover, and there will be live music offered there soon.
The iconic sign, however, will remain untouched.
