Updated: Buffalo Doughboy reopened this morning, and is back to baking.Buffalo Doughboy has faced some challenges since it moved from a tiny spot in Baker to bigger digs at 1298 South Broadway two years ago. For starters, there was the economy. And then there was the endless construction work on Broadway, which once again has blocked off parts of the street. Now Buffalo Doughboy is taking a quick break for some maintenance work.

The bakery is closed for business today, as it was yesterday, but promises to open its doors to customers again at 6:30 a.m. tomorrow — when the newly repaired oven should be turning out some of Denver’s very best baked goods.
