Crave Dessert Bar reopened for regular business in the Spire Building downtown on Friday after a red-carpet grand opening party on Thursday night. Owners Darrell Naughton and Allen Milham closed Crave and the neighboring Organic Pizza Co., which they also owned, in November to remodel, expanding the dessert bar into the pizza space. Although the Organic Pizza Co. is gone, Crave will still offer pizzas made with the same dough recipe on its expanded menu of savory items.

General manager Daniell Sharp says the main changes include a longer bar, a new entrance and a second dining space with more tables. Crave’s original lounge-style booths and tables have not been changed, but new lighting and flooring have been added throughout the restaurant.
Expect the same great desserts, but with more lunch options like grab-and-go sandwiches, those pizzas and two or three new dinner entrees. Crave will truly come alive at night, Sharp adds, welcoming the after-dinner crowd, theater patrons and conventioneers with sweet treats and a full bar.
Crave is closed Mondays but will be open for lunch and dinner — and dessert — from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday, until midnight on Friday and Saturday and until 10 p.m. on Sunday.
