The Cherry Cricket makes one of the town’s great hamburgers (here’s Jason Sheehan’s List of the town’s Best Burgers), which is why the Travel Channel will be stopping by Denver’s Best Burger Bar at 2641 East Second Avenue today, to film a segment of Man v. Food with host Adam Richman. You can catch the Cricket action between 1:30 and 9:30 p.m. — and grab a burger at the same time. (On Thursday, Richman will be at Jack-n-Grill.)

CityGrille‘s burgers don’t rate as high in Sheehan’s book (he loves the fries and chile, though, preferably together). But they still have plenty of fans — and the restaurant at 321 East Colfax Avenue just served what it claims is its millionth burger, earning customer Shavonne Blades free CityGrille hamburgers for a year.
