On Sunday, September 22, DISH will dish out food and drinks from dozens of Cafe Society’s favorite restaurants and trucks, as well as Best of Denver readers’ winners, in the Sculpture Park at the Denver Performing Arts Complex. Tin Star Smokehouse, the barbeque joint that Paul Schutt, a former chef at Work Options for Women, opened in Golden this past spring will be serving up his “pig pile” sliders.

The sandwich, a regular menu item at Tin Star, starts with a small brioche roll, the piles it high with slow-smoked pork butt and tangy cole slaw.

“This is a representation of classic BBQ with a local twist that we feature daily,” says Schutt. “We have hand-crafted BBQ prepared every day, with emphasis on generous portions and great value.”
