It looked like the year’s coolest project: turning the old EZ Mop building at 1223-1227 East 17th Avenue into a bar, with a renovated interior but the original EZ Mop sign out front. The advertising possibilities were endless: “Come sop up some alcohol at EZ Mop”; “A few drinks here, and you’ll be EZ, too.”
But alas, that project is now off the table, and the building is back on the market for a fast $850,000 (or for least at $18.50 NNN). For more details, visit the realtor’s web site at http://www.bartellre.com
