It’s been a tough month for the town’s top Chinese restaurants. Chef Liu’s Kitchen, named Best Chinese Restaurant in the Best of Denver 2014, closed abruptly in Aurora; it will be replaced by a pho restaurant. But while that means the restaurant won’t be gone for good, the new address isn’t particularly reassuring: 250 Steele Street has a reputation as a black hole, one that has swallowed numerous eateries, including Ondo’s, French 250 and Tambien.
According to a note posted on the door of the original location, Hasu should open within a month.
