Black Cat Bistro chef/owner Eric Skokan will be at the Tattered Cover on Colfax Avenue at 7 p.m. tonight to discuss and sign his book, Farm, Fork, Food: A Year of Spectacular Recipes Inspired by Black Cat Farm. His free appearance should provide plenty of food for thought, and there’s more on tonight’s culinary calendar.

The Denver International Wine Festival is underway at the Omni Interlocken. From 6 to 9 p.m. at Parsine, ten Colorado chefs will create twenty culinary pairings with wenty Gold-Medal wines from the 2014 Denver International Wine Competition. Tickets are $100, find out more here.
