Back in April, a street sweeper almost wiped out the Famous Dave’s in Stapleton when it crashed into the front of the building. Although the dining room reopened the next day, the bar area had suffered more damage and has been shuttered since April 18.

But today the bar will reopen, with specials offered from 4 p.m. until close. Among the deals are $1 “Street-Sweeper” shots of rum, pineapple juice and a splash of grenadine.
