Fired Up will open in the former home of Chances (which relocated to LoDo last month) at 1135 Bannock Street.

“We’ll offer gourmet pizzas made from as many locally- sourced ingredients as possible,” says owner Josh Barhaug, who just got back from a reconnaissance mission in Europe, where he and his wife drove around in an RV eating pizza.

“We wanted to go a different route than the Neapolitan-style that seems to be popular here in Denver,” explains Barhaug. “We’ll have gourmet burgers as well.”

Fired Up will have a full liquor license with local craft beers and keg wines on tap. Barhaug says they hope to have the place open by the end of May.
