$20,000

This past weekend, when I sneaked through the open doors of Fogo de Chao, the new Brazilian churrascaria going into 1515 Wynkoop Street, to take photos of the space, a pair of hands came between my camera and the construction dust. “Absolutely no photos are allowed!” yapped the guy with the hardhat, citing strict orders from the owner, who, of course, wasn’t working on Saturday.

But Mr. Hardhat had a soft spot, too, revealing that the Brazilian steakhouse chain, just three blocks down the block from Rodizio Grill, LoDo’s long-standing churrascaria at 1801 Wynkoop, will open in mid-July with 386 seats and 14,000 square feet of eating, meating

meeting and drinking space.

Let the flame wars begin.
