Turns out that the metro area gained not four, but five new burger joints in February.
That’s because Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers opened its second Colorado outlet last week at 1103 Iola Street in Aurora. The state’s s first link in the Wichita-based chain is at 2660 West Belleview Avenue in Littleton.
The Aurora Freddy’s will celebrate its grand opening on Tuesday, March 2. After a 10:15 a.m. ribbon-cutting, the store will officially open its doors at 10:30, when it will feature in-store specials, giveaways and a free mini-custard cone with the purchase of a combo meal.
Freddy’s menu features steakburgers, all-beef hot dogs, patty melts, veggie burgers and custard (vanilla or chocolate) served with toppings or as “concrete” — with mix-ins. Find more info here.
