LoDo is hotter than ever, with new bars and restaurants opening in anticipation of the return of Union Station — but for Gatsby’s, the neighborhood has gone cold. The original concept for Gatsby’s was “Downtown chic meets back alley speakeasy,” but the concept never really took off. And now it seems like the owners have.

“Some lights are still on inside,” one LoDo resident reports, “and all the inside ‘stuff,’ including the bar bottles are still in place…. It is a mystery! Any ideas?”

We’re stumped, too; so far, no one has responded to the messages we’ve left on the Gatsby’s voicemail. There’s no sign on the door indicating the space’s status, and the website remains unchanged.
