The challenges facing local news organizations are very real. That's why reader support matters more than ever. If you believe independent journalism matters, make a contribution today and help us reach our summer fundraising goal of $25,000 by August 9.
The “Simon Says” Summer Grilling Series continues at EDGE Restaurant, 1111 14th Street, tonight. Every Thursday through September, chef Simon Purvis will oversee a class geared toward grilling in the summer; the series kicked off last week, and although Purvis on Monday took the inaugural United Airlines Dreamliner flight to Japan, where he was featured on a cooking show, class will continue tonight.

This evening’s lesson starts at 6:30 p.m., and will focus on a “healthy grilling option”: golden trout with whole grain mustard, cress and cashew vinaigrette. The $40 cost includes tastings, one well cocktail, draft beer or house wine, and a spice rub to take home.
Next week’s class? Baby back ribs. Call 303-389-3343 to reserve a seat; click here to find out more information.
