I’ve had many bad experiences with Cognac, so when the bartender suggested I try a Cognac-based drink named “Year of the Dragon,” I had mythical monster-sized doubts. But since the Year of the Dragon is almost a memory, I mustered up the courage to slay another fear in 2012. And happily, this combination of Cognac, oolong tea simple syrup (made on site) and local Dram “Hair of the Dog” bitters did not have me breathing fire.
