An Old Fashioned was one of my dad’s favorite drinks when I was a child; I remember sipping one and wondering how in the world adults could like the way it tasted. But a few decades later, it didn’t take me long to learn to love a great Old Fashioned — and this version is one of Denver’s best. The drink is perfectly proportioned with Bulleit Bourbon, Angostura and orange bitters and sugar — chilled by a big block of ice. Cheers to the perks of adulthood!
