In February, we scoured the bar scene with a very important mission: to release a list of the six horniest bars in Denver, which we thought were pretty horny. But we heard your feedback, like, “How is Recess not on here,” “If Charlie’s isn’t on there, then it’s not a real list 🤠,” and, our personal favorite, “What a bunch of skanky lowlifes that work for your organization.”
With that, we’ve added six more bars to our horny bars list, in hopes that it will satisfy all the horndogs out there. Whether you’re single and ready to mingle, polyamorous and on the prowl, or just flirting for sport, we’ve deemed these spots the horniest bars in the Mile High City, starting with our latest additions to the lineup:
Happy Camper
3211 North Pecos Street
Is anything rowdier than brunch at Happy Camper? Watch the crowd get progressively more chaotic as large groups of girl gangs and bros down the $35 bottomless mimosas and bloodys. Note: there is a two-hour limit on the special, so drink fast. This LoHi staple is designed to look like a party campsite featuring a patio decked out with fire pits, twinkling lights strung overhead, disco balls, and plenty of spots to post up and day-drink until you get the courage to flirt with the neighboring table.

Danielle Lirette
Recess Beer Garden
2715 17th Street
This massive outdoor bar is the move if you like packed patios and a crowd firmly in its mid-20s. You’re sure to (literally) bump into someone on the split-level terrace where there’s plenty of seating, fire pits, and multiple bars pouring drinks as fast as the crowd can order them. It’s also pet-friendly, so your dog can double as your wingman. You may plan to stop by before hitting up LoHi’s bar scene, but don’t be surprised if you get stuck here. The deck fills up fast, and after a few rounds, strangers tend to become friends (with benefits).
Charlie’s Denver
900 East Colfax Avenue
Charlie’s might have started as a gay bar in 1981, but nowadays it entertains all kinds of partygoers looking for a good time. On the sprawling dance floor, you’ll find some of the city’s best drag shows, line dancing and plenty of bumping and grinding once the music gets going. Between the go-go boys throwing ass and the packed crowd pulsing under the glittering cowboy-boot disco ball, it can get pretty steamy. If you need a breather, the massive patio gives you space to cool off and decide who you’re dragging back to the dance floor next.

Pon Pon
2528 Walnut Street
This tiny RiNo dive glows in moody pink and red light, setting the tone for a sultry night. Couples, first dates – or people who just met five minutes ago – cozy up on the vintage couches or squeeze in at the small bar while a DJ spins vinyl records. The back room gallery features rotating art pieces (which are sometimes provocative themselves), giving you the perfect excuse to debate post-modernism and photo composition as a form of foreplay, if that’s what you’re into.
Milk Bar
1037 Broadway
It’s easy to get lost at Milk Bar, the multi-level 21+ nightclub on South Broadway. The maze-like venue invites wandering, with people making out in stairwells and couples cuddling on the rooftop between puffs of hookah. As the night goes on, the packed dance floors and shadowy corners make it easy to lose your friends and find someone new. With several different dimly lit rooms all blasting different musical genres – from Top 40 and Latin to goth rock and EDM – you’re bound to find someone that doesn’t yuck your yum.
Viewhouse Ballpark
2015 Market Street
This LoDo sports bar is three stories of trouble. If a little friendly competition gets you going, the outdoor patio has games like volleyball and cornhole, while giant TV screens throughout the space keep the sports fans happy. Inside, there are sprawling bars on the first and second levels, and on the rooftop, you can take in sweeping views of Coors Field, the city and the mountains. Don’t be fooled by all the sports talk, though, the space quickly fills with people who clearly didn’t come just to watch the game.
The original six horniest bars in Denver
Don’s Club Tavern
723 East Sixth Avenue
This nearly eighty-year-old dive bar is typically packed to the brim with bros in backwards ball caps and girls in oversized leather jackets paired with teeny tiny tops. The vibe is loud, crowded and slightly unhinged. Fair warning: you might catch a couple feeling each other up on the back patio. There are plenty of ways to break the ice at Don’s — over a round of pool, a smoke on the back patio, a game of Skee-Ball or $4 pickle shots.
Larimer Lounge
2721 Larimer Street
The freaks come out at night, and Larimer Lounge is proof. By 11 p.m., this dance club is typically dark, sweaty and pulsing with house beats thanks to a rotating lineup of DJs and bands. In addition to a sprawling back patio (which, by the way, is the perfect spot for catching your breath, or locking eyes with a prospect), the lounge has two rooms with completely different vibes. On the one side, you’ll find couches and chairs to chat with your boo thing, or strike up a conversation with a mysterious stranger. On the other is the dimly lit dance floor with a stage and a DJ booth, where personal space is more of a suggestion, and you’re bound to run into a few drunken make-out opportunities.
MDE Lounge
30 South Broadway
Para nuestra gente Latino (don’t worry, gringos are welcome, too), MDE Lounge is the place if you’re looking to bump and grind. There’s always reggaeton and EDM playing, and people dancing real close. With plush seating, a packed dance floor, and sensual beats pulsing through the room, the club channels the energy of Medellín’s nightlife scene, where the music is loud and the bodies are always moving.
The Pearl
2195 California Street
Equal parts cozy cafe and late-night playground, this sapphic spot has no shortage of steamy programming for its patrons. Whether you’re sipping coffee at 3 p.m. or dancing until 2 a.m., the potential to get lucky is always lingering in the air.

Star Bar
Star Bar
2137 Larimer Street
If you’re looking for a good time, wade through the debaucherous downtown crowd to visit Star Bar. The staff at this beloved downtown dive has been rolling out some cheeky social media videos recently that hint at the good vibes that await inside this watering hole. Loosen up with one of the bar’s recently released cocktails ($12 each) like the Sabrina Carpenter espresso martini or a spicy marg, then work up the nerve to ask a stranger to duet with you; or skip the foreplay and go straight for a beer and a shot. Be careful, though, we’ve personally witnessed many a friend leave arm-in-arm with their karaoke partner after a drunken rendition of “Mr. Brightside.”
Tracks
3500 Walnut Street
As far as LGBTQ+ bars go in Denver, Tracks might be the horniest (we’ve witnessed unspeakable things on that dance floor). With multiple rooms blasting different music genres, go-go dancers on stage, and drinks that don’t skimp on the pour, it’s a perfect storm for the best kind of poor decision-making. The programming only cranks things up with its often-steamy events so come curious, stay hydrated, and don’t expect to leave (consensually) untouched.
