Geisty’s Dogg House opened the week after the Super Bowl, and it seems to have scored with University of Colorado students.
Owners Mark and Matt Geist designed the joint with an “old-world ale house in mind,” they say. And so Geisty’s serves sausages — with your choice of ten relishes and sauces — as well as wings, sliders and salads. And beers, of course, including bottled beer and drafts, with an emphasis on Colorado microbrews.
But this place isn’t all old-world: There are also six flatscreen TVs, and comfortable booths where you can sit to enjoy the game…and your dogs and beers.
Geisty’s is open 11 a.m. until 11 p.m. Monday through Sunday.
