LoDo can sure get hectic when the Rockies are in town, but Venice Ristorante & Winebar not only has a nice patio where you can chill out, it serves gourmet grub and offers valet parking for just $6 — a deal, since that buys you a front-row seat for some serious people-watching.
Venice also has one heck of a long happy hour, with special $6 glasses of wine and $3.99 entrees, appetizers and salads available from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. to close Monday through Friday. The specials reappear on the weekend from 5 to 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. to close. The happy-hour menu features scaled-down versions of such house favorites as homemade ravioli, bruschetta, mussels, mozzarella caprese, pear salad and gnocchi Bolognese.
The specials are available only at the bar or on the patio — but what more do you need? Buon appetito!
