Metro Denver is down to just one Jammin’ Joe’s BBQ, the self-proclaimed specialist in “Appalachian barbecue.” Just two months ago Joe’s had three locations, but now it’s just left with the original Jammin’ Joe’sat 2600 High Street.

The first Jammin’ Joe’s moved into the former home of Frank’s Kitchen less than a year ago; in March, it opened two additional locations: one on South Broadway in Englewood and one in Wheat Ridge.
But there were problems with the Broadway space, which closed almost as soon as it opened, and now Jammin’ Joe’s has left the former 7-Eleven where it shared a kitchen, albeit briefly, with another restaurant.
