We’re just two weeks away from the Best of Denver 2010 and starting to tally the Readers’ Poll ballots, on which we asked your opinion on everything from the best blowout brunch to the best nachos to the best vegetarian dish in a non-vegetarian restaurant to the best new restaurant.

That final category is particularly tough, since restaurants ranging from Argyll to TAG to Squeaky Bean to Colt & Gray all opened in 2009. (Yes, we always cut off the new-restaurant category at the end of the year — which means that Jason Sheehan was still around to help with the picks.)

Although we’re past the deadline for paper ballots, you can still vote online through March 22 at www.westword.com. And if you have additional recommendations for your favorite foods in town, send them – fast – to bestof@westword.com.
