This weekend is your last chance to make some memories at Dixons Downtown Grill, which is closing its doors Monday after almost fifteen years in the heart of LoDo.
LoDo residents will be crying in their beers at a Saturday afternoon wake at Dixons. But the restaurant will stay open through the end of brunch on Monday — and on Tuesday, we offered brunch for two to the reader who shared the best memory of Dixons.
Davidhuntress won the prize with this:
Late dinner one very snowy Friday night. Almost no one on the street. Then, suddenly, just across the way, a woman in a bikini emerged from a window at the Jet Hotel. She lit her torches and proceeded to do a fire dance on the awning above the entrance. No cover charge for street entertainment at Dixons!

There should still be plenty of entertaining sights through the weekend at Dixons. See you there.
