The challenges facing local news organizations are very real. That's why reader support matters more than ever. If you believe independent journalism matters, make a contribution today and help us reach our summer fundraising goal of $25,000 by August 9.
Breakfast lovers, fans of New Orleans cuisine and residents near the University of Denver will be excited to know that Lucile’s Creole Cafe will be opening a new location at the corner of Evans Avenue and Ogden Street, in a building that was formerly Home and Hearth Outfitters (a fireplace and outdoor grill store).
This will be the sixth outpost of Lucile’s, which got its start in a Victorian mansion in Boulder more than thirty years ago. Lucile’s is well known to Denverites, who still form lines outside the Logan Street location every weekend for beignets, biscuits and shrimp and grits.
The new Lucile’s is expected to open in late summer or early fall this year.
