Summertime, and the living is breezy. Denver diners and drinkers are obsessed with patios — and restaurateurs are obsessed with giving them what they want. Whether it’s just a couple of chairs stuck out on the sidewalk or acres of elaborate decks, almost every joint in town has an outdoor option. So through the summer, we’ll be sharing some of our favorites.
Even in the dead of winter, Earls opens its upstairs windows wide (and turns the heaters on high), creating the feel of a massive outdoor deck. But it’s in the summer that Earls really sizzles.
And Earls should be white-hot tonight when the “Hot Sounds” music series kicks off right down the street at the Denver Pavilions. Stop by for a drink before the Hollyfelds start playing at 5 p.m., run over during the break before the Kory Brunson Band takes the stage at 7 p.m., or just grab a table on Earls’ patio on the mall and enjoy all the sights (where do they get those gorgeous waitresses?) and sounds of summer in the city.
