The ‘burbs will be rocking tonight, when Party for a Cure invites you to fight cancer while enjoying wine from some of Colorado’s finest vineyards and drinking margs courtesy of Colorado’s own Coyote Gold pre-mixed margaritas. There will also be free samples of Izzybelle Chocolate Sauce, and live music courtesy of Ugly Rumor. Tickets are $45 and include a free bottle of Coyote Gold, the chance to win free prizes, one free drink, hors d’oeuvres galore and more. The party runs from 6 to 9 p.m. at Lodo’s Highlands Ranch, where talk-radio 630 KHOW’s morning-show host, Mandy Connell, will be emceeing; find more info here. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Colorado Cancer Research Center.
Back in central Denver, Brad Ritter, owner of Carmine’s on Penn, hosts an evening of regional wines and food based on his recent travels in Italy. Ritter will select wines from the Adriatic Coast to feature a dinner that runs from 6 to 9 p.m. Dinner is $75 and seating is limited; call Carmine’s at 303-777-6443.
