The Highland neighborhood is smoking hot these days, and last week it got even hotter when Red Poppy Hookah Tea and Hookah Parlour opened at 2120 West 29th Avenue. Co-owners Mayes and Sakshi Mears already have a Red Poppy in Iowa; when they decided to open a second spot, they put it in a cozy Victorian bungalow in LoHi.
