Brewers and cider makers from Boulder County gathered over the weekend at the Boulder County Fairgrounds in Longmont for the first ever Boulder County Fair Brewers’ Festival. The event was organized by the Colorado Beer Trail and featured beers from 20 brewers along with food and music for festival-goers. Since there are more than 60 craft breweries in Boulder County, the festival has potential to grow much bigger in coming years — but this year ticket holders enjoyed plenty of brews without the usual summer festival crowds.
