It might be strange to think of Hooters as an institution, but that’s what the one on South Colorado became. Not only was this breastaurant the first link in the chain in Colorado, it was the first Hooters west of the Mississippi. But after 23 years, the shirt-bursting establishment shuttered its doors on Friday night.
