His recent interview with Dietrich — and Dietrich’s stated intention to keep Stranahan’s from compromising its blend, prompted this response from B.:

Here is all you need to know:

GM Pete Macca after being asked if they are running out of older barrels. “Will your blend ratio get younger as a result?” “That may happen, but we are trying to maintain as consistent of a blend ratio as possible to match our current flavor profile.”

Rob Dietrich in this separate interview: “Will the purchase by Proximo change the whiskey? Any possibility the blend will get younger?” “As far as I have been told, the blend will not get younger, and if there is any compromise, I won’t put my name on it.”
